Blessings and Glory Belong to Jesus

3/10/26, 12:00 PM

Inspired by:
“Just Want To Praise You”
Maurette Brown-Clark

Focus:
Offering continual praise to God for all He has done and all He continues to do

Scripture References (NIV):
• Psalm 34:1 — “I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.”

• Revelation 5:12 — “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise.”

Devotion:
Just Want To Praise You is a declaration of gratitude that rises from a heart that remembers the goodness of God. When the song proclaims, “Forever for all You have done for me,” it reminds us that praise is not temporary. It is continual. God has been faithful in ways we saw and in ways we did not see. He has opened doors, provided strength, extended mercy, and covered us with grace. Praise becomes our response to a God who has never stopped blessing us.

The words, “Blessings and glory and honor, they all belong to You,” shift our focus from ourselves to the One who deserves every ounce of worship. Everything we have, everything we are, and everything we will become is because of Him. His hand has guided us. His love has sustained us. His power has protected us. When we say, “Thank You Jesus for blessing me,” we acknowledge that none of our victories, breakthroughs, or blessings happened by accident. They are the result of His goodness and His intentional care.

As you reflect today, let your praise be sincere and unrestrained. Think about what God has done, how He has kept you, and how He continues to show Himself strong in your life. Praise is not just a song—it is a lifestyle. It is the posture of a grateful heart. Give Him the blessings, the glory, and the honor that belong to Him alone.

Reflection:
1. What blessing from God are you most grateful for today
2. How can you make praise a consistent part of your daily life

Prayer:
Lord, I just want to praise You. Forever I will thank You for all You have done for me. Blessings, glory, and honor belong to You alone. Thank You, Jesus, for blessing me, keeping me, and loving me. Receive my praise today and every day. Amen.

Action Steps:
1. Speak this aloud today: “Blessings and glory and honor belong to God.”
2. Write down three things God has done that you want to thank Him for.
3. Share this devotion and the message of Just Want To Praise You with someone who needs encouragement.

Remember:
Praise is the sound of a grateful heart, and God is worthy of it forever.
