“God Has Not 4got”

Focus:
Holding on to God’s promises with unwavering faith
Scripture References (NIV):
• Numbers 23:19 — “God is not human, that he should lie… Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”
• James 5:16 — “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”
Devotion:
God Has Not 4got is a reminder that every promise God has spoken over your life is still alive. When the song declares, “If He said He will do it then it will come to pass,” it points to the unchanging nature of God. He does not forget His word. He does not abandon His plans. He does not overlook His children. Even when circumstances seem delayed or discouraging, God is still working behind the scenes. His timing is perfect, His purpose is sure, and His promise is guaranteed.
The song continues, “Do not get discouraged, just keep believing,” echoing the call to stand firm in faith. Waiting can be difficult, but waiting is not denial. God uses seasons of waiting to strengthen our trust, deepen our prayer life, and prepare us for what He has promised. The Scripture reminds us that “the fervent effectual prayers of the righteous availeth much.” Your prayers are not wasted. Your faith is not ignored. Your tears are not unseen. God hears, God remembers, and God responds.
As you reflect today, hold tightly to what God has spoken. He has not forgotten you. He has not forgotten your prayers, your sacrifices, or your faithfulness. What He promised will come to pass. Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep standing. God is moving, and your breakthrough is closer than you think.
Reflection:
1. What promise from God do you need to hold onto with renewed faith today
2. How can you strengthen your prayer life as you wait for God’s timing
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for every promise You have spoken over my life. Thank You that You have not forgotten me. Strengthen my faith, steady my heart, and help me to keep believing. I trust that what You have said will come to pass. Amen.
