Devotion:
You Are Holy is a beautiful reminder of the privilege God has given us to enter His presence. When the song declares, “What a privilege and an honor to worship at Your throne,” it reflects a heart that understands the greatness of God and the gift of intimacy He extends to His children. God is holy, set apart, and unmatched in majesty, yet He invites us to draw near. Worship becomes more than a song. It becomes a response to His character, His goodness, and His overwhelming love.
The lyrics, “You are worthy, You are faithful,” point to the unchanging nature of God. He is worthy because He is God. He is faithful because He keeps every promise. When we worship Him, we acknowledge His holiness and His reliability. We honor the One who has carried us, sustained us, and covered us. Worship shifts our focus from our circumstances to His sovereignty. It reminds us that the God we serve is powerful, present, and deserving of all glory.
As you reflect today, allow your heart to slow down and recognize the holiness of God. Approach Him with reverence, gratitude, and awe. Worship Him not only for what He has done, but for who He is. He is holy. He is worthy. He is faithful. It is an honor to bow before Him and lift His name high.
