He Knows How Much You Can Bear

6/4/26, 12:00 PM

Inspired by:
“He Knows”
Smokie Norful

Focus:
Trusting that God is intimately aware of your pain, your prayers, and your process.

Scripture References (NIV):

  • Psalm 139:1-2 - “You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.”

  • Hebrews 4:15 - “For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are, yet he did not sin.”

Devotion:
There are seasons in life when the weight of our circumstances feels overwhelming. We may struggle to find the right words to express our pain, our fears, or our frustrations. In those moments, it is comforting to know that God does not need an explanation. Smokie Norful’s He Knows reminds us that God is fully aware of every detail of our lives. He sees every tear, hears every prayer, and understands every burden we carry.

God’s knowledge of us is personal and complete. He knows our strengths and our weaknesses. He knows the battles we share with others and the ones we keep hidden in our hearts. More importantly, He does not simply observe our struggles from a distance. Through Jesus, He understands our human experience and walks with us through every trial. His presence provides comfort, strength, and peace when we need it most.

Today, take comfort in knowing that you are never alone. God knows exactly where you are, what you need, and how much you can bear. Trust Him with the burdens you have been carrying. Rest in His care and allow His presence to strengthen your heart. The God who knows you completely is also the God who loves you deeply.

Personal Reflections:
•What burden have you been carrying that you need to surrender to God today?
•How does knowing that God fully understands your situation bring you peace?

Prayer:
Father, thank You for knowing me completely and loving me unconditionally. Thank You for seeing every struggle, every concern, and every silent prayer. Help me trust that You are with me in every season and that You understand what I cannot always express. Strengthen my heart, calm my fears, and remind me that I am never alone. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
