Keeps Blessing Me

3/29/26, 12:00 PM

Inspired by:
“Look At God” by Koryn Hawthorne

Focus:
Recognizing God’s continual blessings and giving Him all the glory

Scripture References (NIV):
• James 1:17 — “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights…”

• Psalm 118:23 — “The Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes.”

Devotion:
Look At God is a joyful reminder that God is constantly moving in our lives. When the song declares, “Every time I turn around He is blessing me,” it reflects the truth that God’s goodness is not occasional. His blessings flow daily, often in ways we do not expect and sometimes in ways we do not immediately recognize. God opens doors, provides strength, grants favor, and surrounds us with grace. When we pause long enough to look, we see His fingerprints everywhere. His blessings are not random. They are intentional expressions of His love.

The lyric, “He is making a way every day, I cannot take credit, He is the one who did it,” reminds us that every victory, every breakthrough, and every answered prayer is the work of God. He is the Way Maker who goes before us, clears paths, and aligns opportunities. Nothing we accomplish is done in our own strength. God is the source, the sustainer, and the finisher. When we acknowledge His hand, our hearts remain humble, grateful, and aware of His presence in every detail of our lives.

As you reflect today, take a moment to look at God. Look at the ways He has carried you, protected you, and provided for you. Look at the doors He opened and the battles He fought on your behalf. Look at the blessings that surround you. When you truly see His hand, your heart cannot help but give Him glory. He is the one who did it, and He will continue to do great things in your life.

Reflection:
1. What blessing from God stands out to you most in this season
2. How can you intentionally give God the glory for what He has done

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for blessing me again and again. Thank You for making a way every day and for doing what only You can do. Help me to recognize Your hand in every part of my life and to give You all the glory. My heart is grateful for Your goodness and Your faithfulness. Amen.

Action Steps:
1. Speak this aloud today: “Look at God. He is the one who did it.”
2. Write down three blessings you have seen God provide recently.
3. Share this devotion, song and MyLINKS with someone.

Remember:
When you look at God, you will always see goodness, faithfulness, and favor.
