Look What God Has Done in Me

3/14/26, 12:00 PM

Inspired by:
“Look What You Have Done”
Tasha Layton

Focus:
Celebrating the truth, healing, and new identity God brings into our lives

Scripture References (NIV):
• John 8:32 — “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

• Psalm 147:3 — “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Devotion:
Look What You Have Done is a powerful reminder that God speaks truth into places where lies once lived. When the song declares, “You spoke Your truth into the lies I let my heart believe,” it reflects the way God confronts every false identity, every wound, and every fear with His Word. Lies may have shaped your thoughts, your emotions, or your past, but the truth of God reshapes your future. His truth frees, restores, and realigns your heart with who He says you are.

The lyric, “I feel You digging all my roots up, healing all my wounds up,” speaks to the deep and intentional work of God. He does not heal the surface only. He goes to the root. He pulls up what was planted in pain, trauma, or fear, and replaces it with His love, His peace, and His identity. Healing is not always instant, but it is always intentional. God works layer by layer, wound by wound, until you can boldly say, “You have made me new.” His healing is complete, and His restoration is real.

As you reflect today, take a moment to look at what God has done in your life. Look at the lies He has replaced with truth. Look at the wounds He has healed. Look at the freedom He has brought. You are not who you used to be. You are being renewed, restored, and rebuilt by the God who makes all things new. Let your heart rejoice in the transformation only He can bring.

Reflection:
1. What lie has God replaced with His truth in your life
2. Where do you sense God continuing to heal and make you new

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for speaking truth into every lie and healing every wound. Thank You for digging up the roots that held me back and for making me new. Continue Your transforming work in me, and help me to walk confidently in the truth of who You say I am. Amen.

Action Steps:
1. Speak this aloud today: “Look what God has done in me.”
2. Write down one truth from Scripture that replaces a lie you once believed.
3. Share this devotion and the song “Look What You Have Done.”

Remember:
God heals deeply, restores completely, and makes you beautifully new.
