A Fresh Anointing Is Coming

11/4/25, 1:00 PM

Inspired by:
“Latter Rain”
Men of Standard

Focus:
Asking God for a fresh outpouring of His Spirit to revive, restore, and empower

Scripture References (NIV):

• Joel 2:28 — “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.”

•‭‭ 2 Chronicles‬ ‭7‬:‭14 —‬ ‭“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

Devotion:
There are seasons when we need more than routine—we need rain. Latter Rain is a cry for revival, a call for God to move again. Not just in church buildings, but in hearts. Not just in worship services, but in homes. We need a fresh anointing—one that breaks yokes, heals wounds, and stirs purpose.

God is faithful to respond to hunger. When we ask for rain, He sends it. When we seek His Spirit, He pours it out. Today, lift your voice and your expectation. Ask boldly. Worship deeply. Believe fully. The latter rain is not just coming—it’s already forming. And when it falls, everything changes.

Reflection:
1. Where in your life do you need a fresh anointing from God?
2. How can you prepare your heart to receive His rain today?

Prayer:
Lord, we need a fresh anointing. Send Your latter rain. Pour out Your Spirit on every dry place in my life. Revive me, restore me, and use me for Your glory. I’m ready to receive. Amen.

Action steps:
1. Write down one area where you’re asking God to move—pray over it daily this week.
2. Say aloud: “Lord, send the rain. I’m ready for a fresh anointing.”
3. Share this devotion and the song “Latter Rain” with someone who needs spiritual renewal.

Remember:
When you ask for rain, heaven responds. The fresh anointing is on the way.
