Focus: Recognizing that God’s goodness exceeds our words, and our lives are owed to Him in gratitude

• Lamentations 3:22–23 — “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

Devotion:
Todd Galberth’s Lord You Are Good reminds us that God’s goodness is beyond measure. He has been better than good—He has been faithful, merciful, and gracious in ways we can’t fully express. Even if we tried, our praise would never be enough to match His goodness.

This song is a declaration of surrender: “I owe You my life.” Gratitude is not just spoken—it is lived. Every breath, every step, every act of love becomes worship when we recognize that we are here because of Him. Today, let your life be a testimony of His goodness. Praise Him with your words, but also with your walk.

Prayer:
Lord, You’ve been better than good to me. I can’t praise You enough, even if I tried. Thank You for mercy, for grace, for life itself. I surrender my life in gratitude to You. Amen.

1. Write down three ways God has been “better than good” to you—thank Him for each.
2. Say aloud: “Lord, You are good, and I owe You my life.”
