“Holy Hands”
DOE

Focus:
Celebrating God’s transforming power that not only cleanses our hands but redirects our lives

Scripture References (NIV):

• Psalm 24:3–4 — “Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not trust in an idol or swear by a false god.”

•‭‭ Isaiah 59:1 —‬ ‭“Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.”

Devotion:
DOE’s Holy Hands reminds us that worship is not just about posture, it is about transformation. God does not just ask us to lift our hands; He makes them holy. He cleanses what was once stained, and He redirects the path we were running toward destruction.

When we lift holy hands, we are testifying that God has changed us. Our worship becomes evidence of His saving power. Today, remember: the same God who gave you holy hands also gave you a new direction. Your lifted hands are not empty—they are filled with testimony, surrender, and praise.

Reflection:
1. How has God redirected the path you were once running toward?
2. What does it mean for you to lift “holy hands” in worship today?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for giving me holy hands and a new direction. Thank You for cleansing me, saving me, and transforming me. May my worship reflect the testimony of Your power in my life. Amen.

Action steps:

1. Lift your hands in worship today as a declaration of surrender and transformation.
2. Say aloud: “God gave me holy hands and changed my direction.”
3. Share this devotion and the song “Holy Hands” with someone who needs encouragement to see God’s power to transform.

Remember:
Holy hands are not earned, they are given. And they testify to a life redirected by God.
