Everything I Need You Are

12/6/25, 1:00 PM

Inspired by:
“You Are”
Kirk Franklin

Focus:
Recognizing Jesus as the all-sufficient source of joy, shelter, and forgiveness

Scripture References (NIV):

• Philippians 4:19 — “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”

• Psalm 46:1 — “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.”

Devotion:
Kirk Franklin’s You Are is a reminder that Jesus is not just part of our lives—He is everything we need. He is joy when sorrow tries to overwhelm, shelter when storms rage, and forgiveness when sin weighs heavy.

When we declare “You Are,” we acknowledge His sufficiency. We do not have to search for fulfillment in temporary things—He is the source. He is the answer to every need, the peace in every storm, and the grace that covers every failure. Today, rest in the truth that Jesus is more than enough.

Reflection:
1. In what areas of your life do you need to lean on Jesus as your “everything”?
2. How can you remind yourself daily that He is your joy, shelter, and forgiveness?

Prayer:
Jesus, You are everything I need. You are my joy within, my shelter from the storm, and the forgiver of my sins. Thank You for being my all-sufficient Savior. Help me to trust You fully and walk in Your peace. Amen.

Action steps:
1. Write down one area where you’ve seen Jesus meet your need and thank Him for it today.
2. Say aloud: “Jesus, You are everything I need.”
3. Share this devotion and the song “You Are” with someone who needs encouragement.

Remember:
Jesus is not just part of your life,He is your life, your joy, and your everything.
