Get Ready

12/10/25, 1:00 PM

Inspired by:
“God’s Got a Blessing (With My Name on It)”
Norman Hutchins

Focus:
Living in expectation of God’s promises, knowing His blessings are personal and purposeful

Scripture References (NIV):

• Jeremiah 29:11 — “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

• Galatians 6:9 — “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Devotion:
Norman Hutchins’ God’s Got a Blessing reminds us that God’s promises are not generic, they are personal. He has blessings with your name on them, breakthroughs designed for your journey, and miracles prepared for your testimony.

Getting ready means positioning your heart in faith, your hands in service, and your spirit in expectation. Even when delays come, God’s timing is perfect. Today, walk with confidence knowing that what He has for you cannot be taken away. It is marked with your name.

Reflection:
1. What blessing or breakthrough are you believing God for in this season?
2. How can you prepare your heart and actions to receive what He has already promised?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for having blessings with my name on them. Help me to wait with faith, serve with joy, and live with expectation. I trust Your timing and Your plan for my breakthrough. Amen.

Action steps:
1. Write down one area where you are expecting God’s breakthrough—pray over it daily.
2. Say aloud: “God’s got a blessing with my name on it.”
3. Share this devotion and the song “God’s Got a Blessing” with someone who needs encouragement to believe for their miracle.

Remember:
God’s blessings are personal, purposeful, and perfectly timed—get ready for your breakthrough.
