His Love Is Power

2/23/26, 1:00 PM

Inspired by:
“Jesus Is Love”
Heather Headly

Focus:
Embracing the healing, restoring, and eternal power of the love of Jesus

Scripture References (NIV):
• Romans 8:38–39 — “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future… will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

• Psalm 147:3 — “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”

Devotion:
Jesus Is Love reminds us that the love of Jesus is not ordinary. It is powerful, eternal, and unmatched. When the song declares, “His love is power, His love is glory, His love is forever,” it captures the truth that the love of Jesus is the strongest force in our lives. His love lifts us when we are weak, strengthens us when we are weary, and surrounds us when we feel alone. This love does not fade, fail, or falter. It remains constant, steady, and victorious.

The song also proclaims that His love heals and restores, and that truth is woven throughout Scripture. The love of Jesus reaches into the deepest places of our hearts and brings healing where there was pain, clarity where there was confusion, and restoration where there was brokenness. His love does not simply comfort us. It transforms us. It renews our hope, rebuilds our strength, and reminds us that we are never beyond His reach. His love is the place where we are made whole again.

As you reflect today, let your heart rest in the truth that the love of Jesus is everything you need. It is powerful enough to break chains, gentle enough to heal wounds, and faithful enough to carry you through every season. His love is your anchor, your covering, and your confidence. Jesus is love—and His love is forever.

1. Where have you experienced the healing or restoring power of the love of Jesus
2. How can you lean into His everlasting love in a deeper way today

Lord, thank You for a love that heals, restores, strengthens, and lasts forever. Thank You for the power of Your love that carries me, comforts me, and transforms me. Help me to trust Your love fully and to walk in the confidence that nothing can separate me from it. Amen.
