Hope for What I Cannot See

1/17/26, 1:00 PM

Inspired by:
“I Know the Plans”
Martha Munizzi

Focus:
Trusting God’s future for you even when tomorrow feels uncertain

Scripture References (NIV):
• Jeremiah 29:11 — “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

• Psalm 30:11 — “You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.”

Devotion:
Martha Munizzi’s I Know the Plans reminds us that even when we cannot see what tomorrow holds, God already has every detail secured. He is not guessing. He is not adjusting. He is not uncertain. His plans for our lives are intentional, established, and filled with hope. When our vision is limited, His vision is complete. When our strength is low, His strength is perfect.

God promises hope for tomorrow, joy for sorrow, and strength for everything we go through. These are not temporary comforts. They are divine provisions that meet us in every season. When life feels heavy, God lifts. When the future feels unclear, God guides. When sorrow tries to settle, God replaces it with joy that only He can give.

We may not always understand the path, but we can trust the Planner. God sees beyond today. He knows what is ahead, and He prepares us for it with wisdom, grace, and strength. Nothing you face is wasted. Nothing you endure is overlooked. God is shaping you, strengthening you, and positioning you for the future He has already designed.

Today, release the pressure of trying to figure out tomorrow. Rest in the truth that God already knows the plan, and His plan is good.

Reflection:
1. What area of your life feels uncertain and requires you to trust God’s plan
2. How has God given you joy or strength in a season that felt difficult

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for knowing the plans You have for me. Thank You for giving me hope for tomorrow, joy for my sorrow, and strength for everything I face. Help me to trust Your wisdom when I cannot see the way forward. I rest in Your plan and Your promise. Amen.

Action Steps:
1. Speak this aloud today: “God knows the plan, and His plan is good.”
2. Write down one area where you will trust God with your tomorrow.
3. Share this devotion and the message of “I Know the Plans” with someone who needs encouragement.

Remember:
Even when you cannot see tomorrow, God has already prepared it with hope, joy, and strength.
