I Love You for Who You Are

2/17/26, 1:00 PM

Inspired by:
“Lord I Love You”
Eddie Baltrip & Fulfillment

Focus:
Loving and praising God simply for who He is—glorious, holy, and the Great I Am

Scripture References (NIV):
• Psalm 29:2 — “Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.”

• Exodus 3:14 — “God said to Moses, ‘I am who I am…’”

Devotion:
Lord I Love You is a pure expression of worship that reminds us why we love God—not only for what He has done, but for who He is. When we declare, “Yes, I love You, I praise You,” we are responding to His character, His holiness, and His glory. God is worthy of praise simply because He is God. He is faithful, sovereign, powerful, and eternal. Loving Him becomes natural when we recognize His greatness and reflect on His goodness.

The song continues, “Just for who You are in all of Your glory,” and those words call us into deeper reverence. God is not limited by time, circumstance, or human weakness. He is the Great I Am—the One who has always been and will always be. He is our Creator, our Sustainer, and our Redeemer. When we worship Him for who He is, our hearts align with His presence, and our spirits find rest in His identity. Worship becomes more than a song. It becomes a posture of surrender and awe.

As you reflect today, let your love for God rise from a place of gratitude and recognition. He has been everything you needed—strength, peace, comfort, and guidance. He has shown Himself faithful in every season. Loving Him is not an obligation. It is a privilege. It is the response of a heart that has seen His glory and experienced His presence. Today, declare boldly, “Lord, I love You,” knowing that He is worthy of every word.

Reflection:
1. What attribute of God draws your heart into deeper love and worship
2. How can you intentionally honor God today simply for who He is

Prayer:
Lord, I love You and I praise You for who You are. You are the Great I Am, full of glory, power, and holiness. Thank You for revealing Yourself to me and for being everything I need. Help me to worship You with sincerity and to honor You in all that I do. Amen.

Action Steps:
1. Speak this aloud today: “Lord, I love You for who You are.”
2. Write down one attribute of God that strengthens your faith.
3. Share this devotion and the message of “Lord I Love You” with someone who needs encouragement.

Remember:
God is worthy of your love and praise—not only for what He does, but for who He is.
