Devotion:
More Than Anything reminds us that the love of God is incomparable. When we declare, “I have never known a love like this,” we acknowledge that nothing in our lives has ever come close to the depth, purity, and faithfulness of God’s love. His love reaches places in us that no human affection can touch. It heals wounds that time could not heal. It fills voids that nothing else could satisfy. His love is steady, unconditional, and everlasting.
As we grow in our relationship with God, we begin to understand that loving Him more than anything is not a burden. It is a response. It is the natural overflow of experiencing a love that never fails, never changes, and never withdraws. God’s love has carried us through seasons we did not think we would survive. His love has lifted us when we were weak, restored us when we were broken, and embraced us when we felt alone. Truly, we have never known a love like His.
When we say we love God more than anything, we are choosing to place Him at the center of our lives. We are choosing to value His presence above every possession, His voice above every opinion, and His will above every desire. This love transforms us. It strengthens us. It anchors us.
