I Receive What God Has Declared Mine

“My Portion”
Jekalyn Carr
Focus:
Rejecting what God did not assign and embracing the promises He has spoken over your life
Scripture References (NIV):
• 2 Corinthians 1:20 — “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are ‘Yes’ in Christ. And so through him the ‘Amen’ is spoken by us to the glory of God.”
• Psalm 16:5 — “Lord, you alone are my portion and my cup; you make my lot secure.”
Devotion:
Jekalyn Carr’s “My Portion” boldly declares that failure, pain, and brokenness are not your inheritance. They are not your identity, and they are not your portion. God has spoken a different word over your life. He has assigned you good health, increase, grace, mercy, strength, and victory. God’s promises are still “Yes,” and “Amen.”
Too often, we accept things that God never intended for us. We carry burdens that do not belong to us and settle for outcomes that do not align with His word. But God calls you to rise up and embrace what He has already declared. Your portion is not determined by your past, your pain, or your circumstances. Your portion is determined by the promises of God.
Grace is your portion.
Mercy is your portion.
Healing is your portion.
Increase is your portion.
Wholeness is your portion.
Victory is your portion.
Restoration is your portion
Open doors is your portion
Favor is your portion
Deliverance is your portion
Salvation is your portion
When you embrace the promises of God, you shift your posture from survival to expectation. You begin to speak differently, believe differently, and walk differently. You stop agreeing with defeat and start agreeing with destiny. God has already established your portion. Your role is to receive it, declare it, and walk in it.
Today, stand boldly in the truth that everything God has promised is already yours. Say “Amen” to what He has spoken and reject anything that does not align with His word.
Reflection:
1. What negative belief or experience have you accepted that God never assigned to you
2. Which promise of God do you need to embrace and declare as your portion today
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for declaring a portion over my life that is filled with grace, mercy, increase, restoration, deliverance, salvation, favor, wholeness and so much more. Help me to reject anything that does not come from You and to embrace every promise You have spoken. Strengthen my faith to say “Amen” to Your “Yes.” In Your Holy and righteous name I pray, Amen.
Action Steps:
1. Speak this aloud today: “Failure is not my portion. God’s promises are my portion.”
2. Write down one promise of God that you will intentionally embrace this week.
3. Share this devotion and the message of “My Portion” with someone who needs to know God is faithful in what He gives.
Remember:
Your portion is everything God has promised. His “Yes” is already spoken. Your “Amen” activates it.
