I Still Trust You

11/6/25, 1:00 PM

Inspired by:
“I Trust You”
James Fortune & FIYA

Focus:
Choosing trust over fear, even when life doesn’t make sense

Scripture References (NIV):

• Proverbs 3:5–6 — “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

• Isaiah 26:3–4 — “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.”

Devotion:
Trust isn’t just a feeling—it’s a decision. I Trust You is a bold declaration that says, “Even when I don’t understand, I still believe.” James Fortune & FIYA remind us that faith isn’t built in comfort—it’s forged in surrender. When you choose trust, you choose peace. You choose hope. You choose God.

Today may bring questions, delays, or disappointments. But God is still trustworthy. His character hasn’t changed. His promises haven’t failed. So lift your voice and your heart and say, “I trust You.” Not because it’s easy—but because He’s faithful.

Reflection:
1. What situation in your life is testing your trust in God right now?
2. How can you shift from worry to worship today?

Prayer:
Lord, I trust You. Even when I don’t see the way, I know You’re making one. Help me lean on Your wisdom, rest in Your peace, and walk in Your promises. I surrender my fears and choose faith. Amen.

Action steps:
1. Write down one area where you’re choosing to trust God—pray over it daily this week.
2. Say aloud: “I trust You, Lord. You’ve never failed me.”
3. Share this devotion and the song “I Trust You” with someone who needs encouragement in their faith walk.

Remember:
Trust doesn’t mean you have all the answers—it means you know Who does.
