Focus:
Recognizing Jesus as Master, Redeemer, Savior, Provider, Protector, and the One who fulfills every need
Scripture References (NIV):
• Colossians 1:17 — “He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.”
• Psalm 18:2 — “The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
Devotion:
Tye Tribbett’s “Everything” helps us understand that Jesus is not simply a part of our lives. He is the center, the source, and the sustainer of everything we are and everything we need. He is Master, Redeemer, Savior, Provider, Protector, and the Lily of the Valley. Every title reveals a different dimension of His love, His power, and His presence.
When we call Him Master, we acknowledge His authority.
When we call Him Redeemer, we celebrate His sacrifice.
When we call Him Savior, we honor His grace.
When we call Him Provider, we trust His faithfulness.
When we call Him Protector, we rest in His covering.
When we call Him the Lily of the Valley, we remember that He brings beauty, fragrance, and hope into the lowest places of our lives.
Jesus is everything because He fills every gap, heals every wound, and answers every need. There is no situation too complex for His wisdom, no burden too heavy for His strength, and no valley too deep for His presence. When life feels overwhelming, we can anchor ourselves in the truth that Jesus holds all things together. He is not distant. He is near, active, and fully involved in every detail of our journey.
Today, lift your eyes and remember who Jesus is to you. Let gratitude rise as you reflect on the many ways He has revealed Himself in your life. He is everything, and He is more than enough.
Reflection:
1. Which name of Jesus speaks most deeply to your current season
2. How has Jesus shown Himself to be your Provider, Protector, or Redeemer recently
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my everything. Thank You for being my Master, Redeemer, Savior, Provider, and Protector. Help me to recognize Your presence in every area of my life and to trust You completely. You are more than enough for me. Amen.
Action Steps:
1. Speak this aloud today: “Jesus is my everything.”
2. Write down one name of Jesus that strengthens your faith today.
3. Share this devotion and the message of “Everything” with someone who needs encouragement.
Remember:
Jesus is everything you need, and He holds every part of your life together.
