Leave It In God’s Hands
1/4/26, 1:00 PM
Inspired by:
‘Trust In You’
Anthony Brown and group therApy
Focus:
Choosing worship over worry and releasing every burden into God’s care
Scripture References (NIV):
• Psalm 56:3 — “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.”
• Matthew 6:34 — “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Devotion:
Anthony Brown’s “Trust In You” reminds us that God never designed us to live weighed down by fear, anxiety, or the pressure to control outcomes. God created us to worship Him daily, to walk in confidence, and to trust His heart even when we cannot trace His hand. Worry drains strength, but worship restores it. Worry magnifies the problem, but worship magnifies the One who holds the solution.
There comes a moment when faith requires a release. A moment when we decide that the burden is too heavy for us but never too heavy for God. When we choose to leave it in His hands, we step into the peace that He promised. God is not asking us to figure everything out. He is asking us to trust Him with everything.
Today, make the intentional choice to lay down every concern, every fear, and every unanswered question. God is faithful. God is present. God is working. You were not created to worry. You were created to worship. Leave it right here, and let God carry what was never meant for you.
Reflection:
1. What burden have you been carrying that God is asking you to release today
2. How can you practice worship as your first response instead of worry
Prayer:
Lord, I thank You for creating me to worship and not to worry. I place every concern, every fear, and every situation in Your hands. Strengthen my trust, steady my heart, and remind me daily that You are in control. I choose to leave it here and walk in Your peace. Amen.
Action Steps:
1. Speak this aloud today: “I leave this in God’s hands, and I choose worship over worry.”
2. Write down one burden you are releasing and surrender it in prayer.
3. Share this devotion and the message of “Trust In You” with someone who may have lost faith needs encouragement.
Remember:
You were not created to worry. You were created to worship, trust, and walk in God’s peace.
