My Mind Is Made to Worship

1/25/26, 1:00 PM

Inspired by:
“I Choose To Worship”
Wess Morgan

Focus:
Choosing worship as an act of faith, strength, and surrender in the midst of every struggle

Scripture References (NIV):
• Psalm 34:1 — “I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.”

• Habakkuk 3:17–18 — “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines… yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior.”

Devotion:
“I Choose To Worship” is a declaration that worship is not based on circumstances, emotions, or convenience. It is a decision. It is a posture. It is a commitment of the heart. When Wess Morgan sings, “I just can’t give up, my mind is made,” it reflects a faith that refuses to bow to pressure, pain, or discouragement. Worship becomes the place where strength rises, clarity returns, and God meets us in the middle of what we are going through.

There are seasons when worship is easy and seasons when worship is a sacrifice. Yet it is in the difficult seasons that worship becomes the most powerful. When we choose to worship in the midst of confusion, heaviness, or spiritual warfare, we are declaring that God is greater than what we feel and stronger than what we face. Worship shifts the atmosphere. Worship lifts the burden. Worship reminds the soul that God is still worthy, still present, and still in control.

Choosing worship is choosing victory. It is choosing to stand when everything around us says to sit down. It is choosing to believe when doubt tries to speak louder. It is choosing to lift our hands when our hearts feel weak. Worship is not denial of the struggle. It is acknowledgment of God’s sovereignty in the struggle. Today, let your worship be your weapon, your anchor, and your declaration that you will not give up. Your mind is made, and your heart is set.

Reflection:
1. What situation in your life requires you to choose worship instead of worry
2. How does worship strengthen your faith when you feel like giving up

Prayer:
Lord, my mind is made. I choose to worship You in every season of my life. Strengthen me when I feel weak and remind me that You are worthy no matter what I face. Let my worship rise above my circumstances and draw me closer to Your presence. Amen.

Action Steps:
1. Speak this aloud today: “I choose to worship, and my mind is made.”
2. Write down one area where you will intentionally worship through the struggle.
3. Share this devotion and the message of “I Choose To Worship” with someone looking for breakthrough in life situations.

Remember:
Worship is your decision, your strength, and your victory. When you choose worship, you choose God’s presence over every problem.
