Focus:
Trusting God’s purpose even when the path is difficult or unclear
Scripture References (NIV):
• Romans 8:28 — “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
• Isaiah 55:9 — “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
Devotion:
All In His Plan reminds us that there are seasons when life does not make sense. We face situations that feel heavy, confusing, or painful, and we wonder why God allows us to walk through them. The truth is that God could stop every storm instantly, but in His wisdom, He sometimes allows us to go through the process because He knows what it will produce in us. He does not allow it to destroy us. He uses it to strengthen us.
There are moments when we cannot understand what God is doing, but He understands us completely. He sees the full picture. He knows what is best for us. He knows what needs to be developed, healed, removed, or matured. What feels overwhelming to us is purposeful to Him. What feels like delay to us is preparation in His hands.
God does not want us to be distracted by what we see. Circumstances can shift, emotions can rise, and challenges can appear larger than they are. But God’s plan is steady, intentional, and unshakable. Every trial, every tear, every test, and every transition is woven into His purpose. Nothing is wasted. Nothing is random. Nothing is without meaning.
Today, choose to trust that God is working even when you do not understand. Stand firm in the truth that this season is strengthening you, shaping you, and preparing you. It is all in His plan, and His plan is always good.
Reflection:
1. What situation in your life requires you to trust God’s plan even when you do not understand it
2. How can you stay focused on God’s purpose instead of being distracted by what you see
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for knowing what is best for me. Even when I do not understand the process, I trust Your purpose. Strengthen me through every challenge and help me remain focused on Your plan. Remind me that what I face will not kill me, but it will make me stronger. Amen.
Action Steps:
1. Speak this aloud today: “This is strengthening me. It is all in God’s plan.”
2. Write down one area where you will choose trust over confusion.
3. Share this devotion and the message of “All In His Plan” with someone who needs to be reminded that God’s plans are perfect all we have to do is trust Him.
Remember:
You may not understand every step, but God is using every step. It is all in His plan.
