Thanksgiving Praise

11/27/25, 1:00 PM

Inspired by:
“Thank You Lord”
Christina Bell

Focus: Offering gratitude to God not only for blessings received, but for His enduring love and faithfulness

Scripture References (NIV):

• Psalm 100:4 — “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”

• 1 Chronicles 16:34 — “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.”

Devotion:
Thanksgiving is more than a holiday, it is a posture of the heart. Christina Bell’s Thank You Lord reminds us that gratitude is the language of worship. On this day, families gather around tables, but the true feast is found in remembering God’s goodness.

We thank Him for provision, protection, and answered prayers. We thank Him for unseen mercies and unspoken blessings. Most of all, we thank Him for His love that never fails. Gratitude shifts our focus from what we lack to the abundance of what we already have in Christ. Today, let your thanksgiving rise beyond tradition—it is worship, it is testimony, it is praise.

Reflection:
1. What blessing from this year are you most thankful for today?
2. How can you carry the spirit of thanksgiving beyond this holiday into everyday life?

Prayer:
Lord, on this Thanksgiving Day, I pause to say thank You. Thank You for life, for love, for family, and for faith. Thank You for Your goodness that endures forever. May my gratitude be more than words—let it be the way I live. Amen.

Action steps:
1. Share one testimony of God’s goodness with your family or friends today.
2. Say aloud: “Thank You, Lord—for You are good, and Your love endures forever.”
3. Share this devotion and the song “Thank You Lord” with someone who needs encouragement in gratitude.

Remember:
Thanksgiving is not just a day—it is a daily declaration: Thank You, Lord.
